I just can't believe that my little peanut is 3/4 of the way through his first year of life! It's getting hard to remember how tiny he was just a few short months ago. It's amazing how much he's grown and developed, especially in the last couple of months. Pretty soon he'll be walking and talking and a little boy instead of my little baby. I'm both really excited to see each new step, and saddened to see him outgrow the old ones. I've said it before: motherhood is the single, largest exercise in letting go that I've ever encountered. For now, I will enjoy my baby. :)
