Pumpkin Party

We had a "Pumpkin Party" at the preschool today. Each kid got a pumpkin to decorate, and it was so cute to watch them! Timothy, however, was not interested in anything but the sandbox and the snack table. He had so much fun playing - I just know that he's going to love "graduating" from the infant center in March!

Cool cat

Cousin Joseph sent Timothy a stylin' new pair of Vuarnet Kids sunglasses. We've gotten him a couple of pairs in the past, but he had no desire to wear them. We now know why - he was holding out for the expensive kind! hehe

Rainy Day

We had a huge storm here last week. Accordingly, Timothy got to wear his new rain boots to school. It was quite funny watching him try to walk.

Too bad the power went out about 30 minutes into the day, and daddy had to go pick him up. This is what I saw when I got home:

Animal Sounds

One of the cutest things that Timothy's been doing lately is making animal sounds. My favorites are the horse (which I don't think made it to the video) and the lion. :)

Boogers!

So, if you noticed, he kept saying "noo-noh, noo-noh" as he dug... turns out he had shoved a noodle so far up his nose that Billy had to get the bulb syringe to suck it out! Heehee!!

Another visit from Grandpa

Grandpa Evaristo came to visit a couple of weekends ago and we had a really nice weekend. On Saturday we went to visit Aunt Susan at the winery where she works in Clarksburg, and then celebrated grandpa's 74th birthday! Happy Birthday, Grandpa! :)

Sunday, we went to Apple Hill to get some fresh cider and apple cider donuts. We also got to play at a pumpkin patch and check out some farm animals while we were there. What a fun day!

Come back soon, mapah! We miss you!

Bishop's Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch last Sunday.

Timothy was immediately adamant about what he wanted to do. He started dragging me by the hand the moment we went through the main entrance to the farm.

The first thing he wanted to do was check out seemingly every pumpkin in the patch! Oh, and he kept trying to pick them up... hehe!

Next was the choo-choo! We had to ride twice because once was really just not enough. :)

Last, but not least, was the pony ride. He made through about 3/4 of the ride, and then he was done. Oh, and notice in the video - he's the smallest kid riding the biggest pony available! So cute!

We all had a great time, and I'd love to say that we'll be going back soon, but it was a bit of a trek getting out there, so we probably won't make it back out again this year.

Davis Farmers Market

Davis has the BEST farmers market anywhere, if you ask me! Last Saturday, we met up with our friends James & Laura, and their two little ones, Andrew and Elizabeth. We sampled and munched our way through the market until we made it to the little human-powered carousel. Timothy and Andrew had a blast riding on the different animals, and Timothy didn't even freak out like he normally does in the middle of a ride! Hopefully we'll go back soon.

"Ready to go, mom!"

Riding the frog next to Andrew:

The music you hear in the background on the video is actually the Davis High School Jazz Trio - they were really good! Timothy really enjoyed their playing - every time a song ended, he would stop whatever he was doing and clap and yell "Ayyyyyy!"

Riding the cow like a big boy:

The child won't eat meat...

Timothy pretty much rejects any kind of meat that we offer these days. That is, until we had Uncle Aron's yummy bbq ribs for dinner. Go figure!

Catching up... again!

Okay, so I apparently have been remiss in uploading pictures from my camera to the computer. I was really looking forward to seeing all the pictures from this past weekend, and I ended up with a bunch of pics from our last visit to my dad's several weeks ago;

a couple from Timothy's 18 month well baby visit;

some other random shots at the park;

sitting on the potty (lots of sitting, not a whole lotta anything else at this point! hehe);

and last, but not least, Grandpa modeling the costume we lent him for his 70's party!

Whew!
