Mommy!!!

Timothy has started calling me "mommy". Not "mama", or "up", or "moh?". Mommy. That's me!!! I'm the mommy! Who knew that one little word could change my whole identity in such a beautifully profound way?

The first time he said it, and every time I've heard it since, my heart just swells to bursting. Sort of like the Grinch. You know, at the end of the story...

"And what happened then...?
Well...in Who-ville they say
That the Grinch's small heart
Grew three sizes that day!"

I'm his mommy. No one else but me.

I'm gonna get you!!

Timothy's favorite game these days (and for the past several months) is "I'm gonna get you!" He loves being chased, whether he's on foot or one of us is holding him. The game always results in hysterical giggles. :)

June Playgroup

Feelin' Hot Hot Hot

So, the weather in Sacramento has been unseasonably cool this month, but it's finally started to heat up. It was pretty warm in the house when we got home today, so we let little man run around in his diaper for a while before putting on his jammies. His hair was doing this "dippity-do" thing (as Diane would say) in the front, and he totally looked like a Kewpie doll. Heehee!

(And yes, that is The Real Housewives of New Jersey on in the background of the last picture. It's a guilty pleasure!)

Yummy Watermelon

Timothy got to try watermelon for the very first time last Sunday. At first he didn't know what to make of it, but I think it's safe to say it ended up being a hit!

First Driving Lesson

So, I thought this was supposed to happen at 15.5 years, not 15.5 months. Guess I was wrong! Timothy just loved pushing all the "duttons" and honking the horn. So cute!

Taco Night

Take Me Out to the Ballgame!

We got to go to a River Cats game (the local AAA team) with Grandpa Jay and Grandma Peggy a couple of weekends ago. They had a suite, and the weather was just gorgeous. We had a great time, and while I'm not sure that Timothy knew what all the fuss was about, he seemed to enjoy the atmosphere. Of course, he wore his costu... er... uniform. Hehe.

After the game, we stopped by a park that is geared towards little ones Timothy's size. He had a blast climbing on the playstructure and trying to get the three bigger boys who were there to talk to him. And there was lots of fun with papa, too, of course!

Fun with Papa

I just love watching my guys play together. They are so silly and have so much fun! Timothy is SO lucky to have such a great daddy! (Man! I should've saved this post for Father's Day! Heehee!)

You can pretty much get anything at Costco these days

Giggly boy

You'll want the sound up for this one. :)

Sometimes, you just need a nap...

...wherever you happen to be!

Yup, he's on the floor! Poor papa! heehee!

Memorial Day

Yes, I know I'm over a week late with this one! Nevertheless, better late than never, no? :) We spent the afternoon at Aunt Susan's, and Timothy had a great time in the pool, petting/hugging/pinching (ouch!) "cousin" Bailey (aunt Susan's dog), and hanging out with cousins Lacey and Lauren.
