"I Love My Bear!"

Teo has started to really enjoy playing with things. The bear in the video below was given to him by Auntie Angie, and it normally sits in the top right corner of the changing table. Lately, though, whenever he's being changed, Teo reaches up and grabs either the bear or the rattle and plays! It's just too cute! :)

See, Grandma?

I told you I have an "I love Grandma" bib, too! :)

Teo's new favorite activity:

Chillin'

I put Teo on the couch so I could fold some laundry, and Billy thought it was hilarious and just had to snap some pics.

Cabbage Patch Kid

For the last 3 or 4 days, Teo* has been sucking his lower lip into his mouth, causing him to look like a little Cabbage Patch Kid.

*"Teo" is the nickname we're trying to promote - short for "Timoteo", the Spanish translation of Timothy

The End of an Era!

And so it is that we bid adieu to the mullet! Yes, ladies and gentlemen, Timothy got his first haircut from Daddy today! I had gone back and forth as to whether I wanted to have this be his "first haircut", and I finally decided that it was looking a little too funny with his new, lighter hair growing in on the rest of his head. I have to say, Daddy did a very good job! :)

Wiffle Ball!

Teo and I spent a couple of hours at the park watching daddy, Aron & Erick play in their tournament. Below are some pictures and a link to the news segment that aired - you can see Billy, Aron and Erick in the background & the guy that the news guys make fun of for flinching is Erick! Heehee!

Fun Friday!

Well, we ended up having quite the busy little weekend! Friday we had our friends Erick & Morgan and Aron & Katherine over for a little bbq & wiffle ball practice, as the boys were playing in a tournament on Saturday. It was really fun having everyone over here! The girls sat around and talked while the boys went up to the school to practice, and little man really enjoyed all the attention. We ended up having a bit of a tough time getting him to go to sleep after everyone left, but all in all it was worth it.

It's official...

I have cleaned out my office at the firm & am going to be working for the Department of Corrections in Downtown Sacramento! It's going to be quite a change in terms of work environment, but the most important thing is that I will be less than a mile away from Timothy's daycare, so I will be able to visit & feed him during my lunch hour! Yay! This is a very good move for our little family.

Please enjoy this video which captures some of the new sounds little man has been trying out. :)

Happy Anniversary!

I can't believe we've been married for a whole year! I love you, babe!

Happy Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day. We spent the first half of the day at home, and then went to Aunt Susan's for swimming and dinner. Unfortunately, the solar heating hadn't been on, so both the pool and the spa were quite cold - you can see what Timothy thought of that in the video! hehe

Happy baby :)

All is forgiven:

End of a fun day:

Happy Father's Day to all you dads out there!

Busy Saturday

What a fun-filled day we had on Saturday! First, Timothy and I went to my friend Lori's baby shower, who is expecting a little girl, Morgan, at the end of July. After we came home, we hung out with daddy and had dinner, and then decided to go for a walk. As we were walking, we noticed that there were tons of cars parked up and down the street and at the school, so we decided to go investigate. We walked down to the park and discovered that it was "Pops in the Park" night, and there were hundreds of people out there! We ran into a couple of moms from the River Park Mother's Club, and saw Timothy's little friend Piper. Yay!

Pure Joy

Music to this mommy's ears!

Merry Muscles!!

Well, after a short hiatus, the Merry Muscles has made a comeback! I think maybe Little Man wasn't quite ready for it when we tried it out last month - but he is now! He spent a good 20 minutes or so in it today (and I took 11 videos during that time - tough to pick just one to post here!) and he had a lot of fun. He's also now very fond of spitting, which you might be able to see a little in this video (or not - I can't remember which of the 11 videos had the spitting and which ones didn't! hehe)

Enjoy!

A new baseball fan is born...

Timothy got to go to his first semi-pro baseball game on Saturday evening - and he had a BLAST! He is most definitely his father's son! We were there for 5 innings, and he was quite content the entire time. He was so very interested in all of the people there, and we happened to be there on Little League night, so there were tons of kids for him to check out. All the other spectators around us just thought he was adorable, too (but who wouldn't, right?!)

Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up!

No time to write, as little man is VERY active today, but I just had to share :)!

"Check out my guns!"

The rolling is getting better!!

And he's becoming quite the little chatter-box! :)

3 months old... Time to put me in the zoo!

Well, Timothy is officially 1/4 of a year old! To celebrate, Billy and I thought it would be fun to go to the zoo. Billy and I had a lot of fun looking at all the animals and Timothy had a blast watching all the other kids who were there. Here are a few pictures that we took while we were there:

On safari (sorry for the finger in the frame!):

"Aren't I cute in my sun hat and striped shirt?"

Notice the jaguar to the left of Billy's head?

Here are some of the other animals we saw:

Snow Leopard:

On a different note, please enjoy the video of little man rolling over for the second time EVER! He did it the first time, so I ran for the camera and made him do it again :) I'll be trying to get better videos as he becomes more adept...
