Lyla Mae, 28 weeks old!

More papa-love

"Look how cute I am! How can he still be reading the newspaper?? I know..."

"I'll pinch his lips and try to rip his nose off! Then he'll have to pay attention to me! Muhahaha!"

"Sweet Puh-tay-tah?! Sweet Puh-tay-tah?! Who're you callin' Sweet Puh-tay-tah?!"*

She's taking famously to solids.  I, however, am not a huge fan of the - ahem - aftermath.  Hence, we're taking it veeeerrrryyyy slooooooowwwwwwwlllllllyyyyyy. 

*5 points to whomever gets that reference first (not you, Billy). hehe!

Lyla Mae, 27 weeks old!

Lyla Mae, 6 months old!

Here are her current stats:
Weight - 15lbs (25th percentile)
Length - 25.5" (50th percentile)
Head circ - 17" (75th percentile)

Little Miss Lyla is now rolling front to back, and can almost go back to front (she makes it about 3/4 of the way over and then hangs out like that).  She can sit up unsupported for a few seconds, but is not yet getting into that position on her own.  She likes to stick out her tongue and talks a lot, and no one is immune to her super-cute flirting these days (she tilts her head sideways and flashes a BIG grin!).  She is a sweet, happy baby (other than the daycare thing, but that's a whole other post...).
