A few cute photos

How old will you be tomorrow?

We've been talking about Timothy's birthday a lot in the last couple of weeks, and he knows he's going to be two (it's been his favorite number for a while, now, hehe). However, when he woke up from his nap today, we were talking and I asked him how old he was going to be tomorrow, and he said "Forty!" and started laughing hysterically. That kid just cracks me up!

Early Birthday present

We went to the mall on Saturday, and Timothy had his very first Disney Store experience. We were walking by to go to the carousel when he saw it and said, "Mickey Mouse!" and that was that. We ended up getting him a little Mickey tee ball set, and he absolutely L-O-V-E-S it. "Pay beessball, mommy?"

And yes, that is a minivan you spy in the background. And yes, it's ours. And yes, we love it! :)

Another haircut

So, Billy has been doing Timothy's haircuts for the past few months. In my opinion, he does a much better job than they did at the haircut place, plus it's free! Timothy doesn't seem to mind too much... until he does!

Palm Desert

We spent a really, really nice week with Grandpa Jay and Grandma Peggy in Palm Desert earlier this month. The weather wasn't quite as warm as we had hoped for the first half of the week, but it was still much nicer than it was here! Timothy really enjoyed getting to swim almost every afternoon, and he especially enjoyed the fact that the condo where we stayed was right on the fairway. He loved watching the golfers, but he loved practicing his own swing even more.

"Pay goff, papa? Nice hit!"

Grandpa Jay, babysitting:

One of the coolest things we did while we were there, though, was go to The Living Desert, which is a desert-themed zoo. The absolute highlight of that outing was getting to feed a giraffe. As in, Timothy, Grandma and I each got to have a piece of food in our hand that we put directly into the giraffe's mouth! Timothy loved it, and would've liked to go again, but by the time we got back in line, the giraffe was full and wandered off.

Timothy enjoying some juice by the camel area:

None of us wanted to come home at the end of the week. In fact, I'd go back right now if I could! :)

Potty Learning

We haven't really gone full-force on the potty learning, but Timothy has been showing interest and he does very well when he has "naken" time. Whenever we let him go sans clothing, he will periodically sit down on the potty, and most times will have some success. I have a picture of the first (and only) #2 success, but I've decided not to post it... you're welcome! ;)

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!!!!

This was one of daddy's picks for Christmas - and what a hit it has been! :)
