So, I always figured that having a little boy would mean having skinned knees all the time - and I was right! We had really hot weather here for a few days last week, and as such, Timothy got to sport his new big boy shorts. He looked like such a little man! But of course, he got an owwie while playing at the park with Daddy and daddy's friend, Brian. It's a tiny little owwie, but I know that it's just a preview of what's to come.

Spaghetti!
My dad made a special request for Billy's spaghetti and meatballs on Saturday night. Timothy has had pasta before, but he'd never had good ol' spaghetti and red sauce, and he loved it! Here are some images of the not-as-terrible-as-I-had-expected mess. :)
We had even laid some newspaper down under his seat, but there were only a couple of little pieces of noodle down there when all was said and done! Such a good little eater!

PDA, Goose Poop & Wind, Oh, My!
We were down in the Bay Area last weekend, and since there's not a whole lot of space to run around at Grandpa's house, we thought it would be nice to go to the park. Billy had already taken Timothy to the little park nearby a couple of times, so I suggested going to a big park in Walnut Creek. So we hopped in the car and headed out. When we got there, it was a little breezy (okay, it was totally windy), but Timothy was nice and cozy in his cords and "Turbo" sweatshirt (so cute!), so we figured we'd be okay.
We got his ball out of the car (best $2 we ever spent, btw!) and let him go on the grass. Big. Mistake. He went running after the ball and fell, and his hand landed. Right. In. A. Pile. Of. Goose. Poop.
Yes. Goose poop. 'Nuff said.
Anyway, we decided to move over to a different area, to see if we could avoid any more such encounters. Much to my dismay, however, there was a, ahem, lovely couple - shall we say - enjoying each other a little too much, if you catch my drift. Now, I realize that Spring has sprung and love is in the air, but really? At a playground where there are upwards of 50 toddlers running around? C'mon, wait 'til you get home, people! (And they weren't even teenagers - had they been, I probably would've cut them a little more slack!)
Anyway, long story short, we let Timothy play for a little while longer, and then headed back home. We were freezing our butts off by that time, anyway!
Probably won't be going back to that park anytime soon... mostly because of the goose poop. Hehe!

Ball!
Timothy is saying more and more words these days. "Ball" is one of his favorites... or should I say, "Bauuu"?! :)

Strawberries
We've been holding off on letting Timothy try strawberries, as they are on the list of potentially highly allergenic foods. I let him try a little bit of one a couple of weeks ago and saw no reaction, so we decided to let him go for it tonight. Think he liked them?

Easter Cutie
Timothy looked adorable in his little Easter outfit - if I do say so myself! We went out to Rancho Murieta on Saturday for an Easter Egg Hunt, and Timothy had a blast. I wasn't able to get too many good action shots (or a video!) of him collecting eggs, but he was a pro! It was pretty darn funny to watch him going after all the eggs (after getting a tutorial on what to do from his cousins, Lacey & Lauren!) while many of his contemporaries stood around and looked confused, or cried, or picked up one egg and refused to let it go... you get the picture. It was all I could do to keep up with him and still get a few pics!
Timothy also got to to touch a horse for the first time, and he was very excited!
And... just a few more shots of the cutie. I couldn't resist!

I Love You, Mom
I've been struggling over how/what/whether to write this post, and I have finally decided that I just need to do it, as I don't feel right posting any new, fun, adorable Timothy stuff until I do.
I miss her. I don't know what else to say.
My mom passed away on April 1st.
