Fun Sunday at Grandma & Grandpa's

Timothy had a very fun time at Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Jay's house on Sunday. His cousins Lacey, 5, and Lauren, 4, were there and they got to hold Timothy for the first time. Grandpa Jay got to hold him, too, and Timothy was very content to sit quietly and have his tummy rubbed.

8 week update

Well, I realize I haven't posted anything in a week and a half - we've been busy! Timothy is spending a lot more time awake and happy, which is so much fun, but it leaves less time for me to do things like this. Anyway, below is a video and some new pictures for your viewing enjoyment.

Ahh, the joy! The cuteness! It's too much! :)

We got our first toy on Friday! It is a set of wrist rattles and "foot finders" (socks with little crinkly, rattling stuffed animal type thingies on them). He seems to enjoy the rattles, but hasn't quite found his feet yet - we're hoping this will happen soon, now that the weather is warmer and his legs can be free from blankets and/or sleep sacks during the day.






This is what I get to see on a daily basis when Timothy wakes up (well, at least when he wakes up in a good mood! hehe!)






If Timothy could talk, I believe he would say, "I love my mommy!"


"And my daddy!"


"And attempting to stuff my entire fist into my mouth! Yum!"

5 1/2 weeks old already?!

I guess this is what they mean when they say "they grow up so fast"! It really seems like just yesterday that I was pregnant - I just can't believe he's been here for over a month! He keeps getting cuter and cuter, and we're having a lot of fun together.

He is getting more and more vocal every day, and is also spending a lot more time awake during the day. We are enjoying going on walks with our New Native sling (seems to be a cure-all when Timothy is fussy), or with our moby wrap when it's cooler outside. Timothy is also becoming more aware of his surroundings - he especially loves staring up at his crib mobile and is even starting to bat at the Wild Things as they go by!
